I wouldn't say that either Gabriel or myself are active seekers of inconvenience.
He is, however, an active seeker of dedicated gaming hardware, and any inconvenience generated by its acquisition is transmuted years later into happy memories to cherish even though once they were out of tots at Taco Time once and he decided to "drive thru" the building itself. Essentially what I'm saying is that context matters.
But he met people in these lines. He doesn't like meeting and he doesn't like people, just… generally. But the Midnight Cult that surrounded these things, with its clear hierarchies, with its kindnesses, with its certainties that there is at least one thing you absolutely agree on, they manufacture a useful scaffold for anxious people.
I saw Gary Whitta playing (ahem) "FUSER" in all caps, a game that would have drawn my attention as a remixing toy based on the too-beautiful-to-live Dropmix even if they hadn't fashioned an incredible Temple To Music Itself on the showfloor at PAX East. Occasionally I will make a play to get software like this, and I did so; spent a bunch of time with it last night and I'm gonna spend more today - some portion of which will be available for your use in a viewing capacity.
Of course, we'll have to get rid of this VOD, so if you want to check it out stop by the stream by at 3pm PDT. I'll be messing with Co-Op Freestyle a bit probably with friend and ally of the site Gary Whitta, who I will not heap shame upon in this very specific instance.
(CW)TB out.
