It's all true; it is possible to enter the Halls of Denigration and secure yourself a key. Through the dark alchemy of Twitch Drops, your attention can be transformed into a closed beta code for Marvel Rivals. Well, maybe. They don't have an unlimited amount of codes to drop for Twitch. And it only goes until tomorrow. There was some other arcane text around getting it, but as I gazed upon it the sigils began to swim. How much danger was I willing to enter in order to maybe get a key for an Overwatch clone, ten years after the fact? I closed the browser.
I don't feel like I have to play this game at all. Not because it is bad, but because I have already played it. It's of a piece with Marvel Lore that immoral experiments and alien technologies might result in twisted hybrids of man and beast - and that's what it's like watching this roster of grab bag chimeras operate. You watch Star Lord writhe and buckle on stream under the weight of his Tracer/Pharah/Reaper kit, and
I do like to watch it, though. Like Rainbow Six: Siege, it's something I can easily imagine watching others play. I absolutely love the character treatments, the silly barks, cool variant skins, and as long as I can outsource the Overwatch Playing to somebody else then we're good. I played so much Overwatch, right into the ground, but Doctor Strange has a cool cape. Life is a series of tradeoffs.
Speaking of beating things into the ground, I am here to yet again push my novellas on you. AcqInc Novellas! Come get your AcqInc Novellas, etc. I have two! They are good.
I'm gonna jump on stream after I grab a shower, 10:45am PT or so. I'll put up the waiting room now.
(CW)TB out.
