PAX 2008 is just a month away and you only have one day left to pre-register for the show.
If you're still on the fence about attending the show here's some info that might help you decide.
Our keynote speaker for 2008, is screenwriter and developer Ken Levine, He will kick off the show which as always will include gamer-themed music concerts, an Exhibition Hall packed with over 70 companies, console and PC tournaments, the Omegathon competition and a wide variety of industry panels. Some of the panels and presentations will include:
- History of Harmonix: THE ROCKENING
- How to Make the World Notice Your Video Game Blog
- The Mega64 'Panel! At The Expo'
- The Power of Gaming Communities
- GamerDad's "Gaming With Children"
We've also got another incredible year of music lined up. This year's show will feature Anamanaguchi, Jonathan Coulton, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, MC Frontalot, The OneUps, The Minibosses and Freezepop.
We've added an additional 120,000 square feet of space this year and looking at our pre-registration numbers it's a good thing. Trust me, PAX 2008 is going to be nuts. I reccomend you hit the PAX site today and pre-register.
