Tycho and I are both on vacation this week but I hope you’re enjoying the storyline we put together. As usual it’s all 100% true. My son cooked up his own tabletop game and in classic Axe Cop style what comes out of the minds of kids is sometimes surprisingly awesome. We don’t really go into it in the strip but mechanically his game is pretty cool too. Each of the characters has a number of “movement” die. These are d6’s and they get rolled at the start of your turn. you then spend the resulting number on movement (1 for 1) or attacking (two movement for one attack). I suggested he call this energy rather than movement since that’s more accurate but he told me that was impossible. He had already written all the character sheets.
