Two things about today’s comic strip.
1. It’s true. I’m going down to California tomorrow to get my Google glass.
2. We recorded a podcast for this comic strip yesterday. It will be the first of our new season of the DLC podcast and you should get it next week sometime.
The Google Glass thing is pretty interesting. I’m a big gadget nerd so I was super interested to see how Glass worked. I submitted my entry into the Explorer program and said that I would use glass to film myself drawing and show PAX from my point of view. I guess they liked that idea because I was accepted! It’s sort of like winning a prize I suppose except that the prize is to pay for a trip to California and buy something really expensive.
I’m turning it into a little weekend vacation though and taking my wife with me. We will spend a day checking out San Francisco and I’m also going to get to see some internet friends that I hardly ever get to hang out with in person. It should be a cool weekend and when I come back on Monday I’ll be well on my way to becoming a cyborg.
