I've just had too much to do leading up to the show to catch it, and when I rest I fall into the dark sleep of prophecy - but the Doctor Strange episode of What If? is something I need to make time for. At least, that's what I'm being told by Gabriel, except he told me in a weird way that doesn't map onto any known sayings. Please let me emphasize that this is something he really said. It was probably a slip of the tongue, but now it's out here and we need to contend with that.
I think - I think - he meant Flip My Wig but now I don't know. I don't know! Maybe we asked for too much; perhaps this is just how Wigs are oriented and we have to make our peace with it. Maybe they can't be inverted. This may simply be the Wig's equilibrium - it's natural state. We merely slink and writhe in the shadow of the Ur-Wig.
I've done PAX from my gaming PC the last couple times, so packing for a show was a combination of really new - I haven't done this in a while! - with really old, i.e., I've done this since 2004. That's an odd combo platter of feelings. The main addition to my repertoire has been a series of masks, a very high volume of sanitizer, and the firm resolution to attend the show in as safe and as conscious a way possible - I know that's a sentiment we share. You'll want to understand precisely how to get into the show with that in mind, and the particulars of our COVID-19 protocols - especially how to get your Wristbands which, together with your Badge, grant you access to the PAX. All of that information can be found here. I put up the merch banners yesterday, all that stuff looks rad, and for the first time ever it's available at the show and online. I look forward to seeing the top half of your face.
(CW)TB out.
