I can’t believe how many great games there are to play right now! Here’s a list of where I’m spending my time these days.
After completing the main storyline you are presented with a bunch more to do. I guess this is what is commonly referred to as “end game content”. This is not stuff I generally see in a game but I’m out here battling through “Extreme” difficulty missions now in an effort to unlock “Proud Mode” for God's Sake! I’m playing it with randos for the most part and it’s still a blast.
This is another game in the burgeoning “Vampire Survivors” genre and it brings a lot of fun new ideas to the table. The main one being mining through the level to secure resources and create paths to escape monsters. Things feel pretty standard at first but once you unlock the Engineer class with his turrets and electrical fences the strategies get pretty crazy.
This is a 3D action platformer that harkens back to the days of the N64. The main character uses a Yo-Yo to navigate the world with lots of fun swinging and dashing mechanics. It’s a fun game that will have you hunting through big colorful levels to track down all the collectibles you need. Think Mario 64 plus some Klonoa and you’ll have a decent idea of what to expect.
I’ve only managed to play a couple rounds of this with Jerry but I had a good time. Recently all my efforts to get into the game have been met with a “server full” message. I have not been able to Helldive for a couple days now but it’s not like I don’t have plenty of other stuff to play.
Meanwhile I have requested access to the Gigantic Beta and I'm just patiently wating to hear back. I'm so excited for this game to come back!
