I haven't even seen any of the leaks; they are effervescent, and quickly boil away. I just know that there are a steady set of leaks for a game that is considered synonymous with the industry, and it only blooms narratively from there: now in addition to the data heist we've got crypto, and for a brief time there was a supposed Dead Man's Switch that would have released the game to the world if anything happens to him. Just unbelievable stuff. I hope the "Cyberleek Entity" is having fun while it lasts. You know? Order DoorDash or something. Do it up.
Hey! Now that we have a studio again, we've invited Level 99 Games back in to test drive some of their new stuff. When I say Level 99 Games, of course, I mostly mean "My Friend Brad." I like his stuff because he's obsessed with asymmetry in player abilities, and has parlayed that into some of the best competitive games of all time. He's also the kind of goof who would make a boardgame about collecting TCG cards.
Join us in welcoming @Level99Games to the Penny Arcade studios for a stream of their games: Dead By Daylight The Board Game & Bride of Spooktacular!

We'll be checking out a couple things:
First, his Dead By Daylight: Auris Box expansion content. We had a great time with the original set, and this new content is currently doing crazy numbers in its Gamefound crowdfunding. I have watched a lot of DBD streams and I hope that keeps me from getting hung on hooks.
Second is Bride Of Spooktacular, which is basically him going absolutely crazy on his asymmetry thing. It's a haunted house game where every player is some whacked-out movie monster and each of them haunts the board in their own way. The original balled out of control and showed him at his most inventive, this new box has ten new monsters to learn and play. There's a preview for an upcoming campaign on Gamefound also, if you want to get the vibe.
Anyhow, I'm excited to dig into this stuff and hang out with Brad Talton, Gamesmith. Very kind of him to do a sponsored stream with us! I think he knows I would do it for free, but please don't put any ideas in his head. Join us at 2pm PST in the usual place!
(CW)TB out.
