I haven't read Silo, in part because Silo isn't a book - it's a series. I think it actually starts with Wool. Something you might not know about young Mork is that this motherfucker probably reads a book a week. He's fucking voracious. To stuff his mind's craw, he also has to be on the prowl for shit constantly, which may be how he ended up becoming an early fan of a self-published digital book before there was such a thing as an Apple TV.
It was a rough ride to get here it sounds like, lotta false starts, but Gabe is really happy with what they've done so far. Not liking things is his brand, so if you were on the fence it might be worth a try. I'm still on my free trial of Apple TV, but you can watch the first episode for free and see if Silo™ is right for your family. One of Mike's kinks is The Apocalypse And Everything After, and if you share that - or if you've seen him at one of the local meet-ups - this might be a blessed way to fill the fitful hours before sleep claims you.
Gonna head over to Mork's here in a sec to try Streem. He will almost certainly be strapped into his Racing Zone, reborn as a true Gridsman, and I will be there to talk to chat and treat any cybersickness he might experience as a result of jackwash. Josh starts at Noon PST, and we'll take over at 2.
(CW)TB out.
