That's the game I was talking about before.  I actually thought I was mentioning it too much, that's how obsessed I am with it, everywhere I look there is another Spiral Knight.  I could have edited the original post to put it in, but I think it's so weird that I managed to talk around the fucking thing for three paragraphs that I kind of want to leave it.  Anyway, if you were made curious, there you go.  

People have been asking me what I thought of this book for a while. Minor spoilers ahead I guess.

We called up Pat Rothfuss, who was wasting away at some kind of romance convention, to show him our new strip before it went up.  It was important to us that he know it came from a place of love.  Gabriel wanted to warn people about spoilers for those who have yet to read A Wise Man's Fear, or The Name Of The Wind for that matter, but I told him - correctly - that if a person hasn't read these books yet, they are villains, and we need not concern ourselves with their writhings.

Gabriel just returned from something called a "Great Wolf Lodge," which sounds like a half-way house for troubled young lycanthropes. But it's not! And apparently there are many things there, things both wolven and lodgy, but the big takeaway is apparently MagiQuest which is like if they had RFID at Hogwarts.

They've almost pushed him entirely away; somehow, they have discovered the ragged boundary of his masochism. It's been true for a long time now that the movies, strangely enough, haven't been the core of his fandom.

For some reason, and perhaps this is something you can explain to me, PAX events are dense with requests to bring back Rex Ready - even though the entire idea of the bit is that Rex Ready is a bad, dumb thing! But bad, dumb things are very much in our wheelhouse, and if someone wants more of that, well, who are we to say no.

The dialogue that surrounds Dragon Age 2 is at least as interesting as the dialogue contained within it. It's ongoing, and you can't lose anywhere you plug yourself in, really, unless you're lead DA2 writer David Gaider. How many people does that apply to, though? One or two, at most. Anyway, there are concerns about the game's erotic menu, concerns which are wholly valid.

Pretty much since the day it came out people have been begging us for more Lookouts stuff. It is without a doubt the most popular side project we have ever created. Fans have been begging for more comics, toys, and especially a tabletop RPG. Meanwhile Tycho and I have been secretly working behind the scenes to make all this stuff happen.

Gabriel cut his thumb to the bone yesterday, the box knife just cut until it stopped, and then he had to go to the doctor where they pried open the wound and scoured its internal structure without mercy. The verdict?

The side of the 3DS box really does have a frightening harangue on it. I would go so far as to say that it stops just shy of being Dark Prophecy, roosting tastefully near Omen.

Mais oui! Here's the conclusion of the Child's Play Hire Episode, or as we call it internally, Jamie II: The Jaimening. We didn't actually call it that before, but I'm going to start now.

We continue to be shocked by the increasingly ridiculous, often ingenious purposes human beings are putting the Kinect sensor toward. I don't understand why this is happening, other than the Internet is rad, and it's put a lot of fascinating, comitted people in contact with one another who have subsequently merged to become Amalgama, she who is The All-God.

Duke Nukem is no doubt, and no argument, an organism which is guaranteed (indeed, engineered) to be offensive.  So, if we get offended...  does he win, somehow?  Is that how it works?  

Having rolled from fever to fever all weekend to find myself deposited here, before a blank editor, is startling to say the least. The last true memory I have is writing the last post, which was about getting the shit beaten out of you, a fact which almost invariably leads to beating the shit out of.
