And I have written it for Zach over at Joe And Monkey, which is a good comic and I like it. The strip itself was drawn by Mitch over at Nothing Nice To Say, a cartoon I am prepared to call awesome in every way, and it was really cool of him to do it. They're both in one of these pinko "collectives" the kids are always going on about. I have been told that they grow wheat.
The Scion, Part Two
New strip is up.
The Scion, Part One
We barely escaped the extemporaneous shelters and choking black clouds of Spokane with our sanity intact. In exchange for potable water, we were able to negotiate with the roving Fuel Lords for an equal amount of petroleum - not much, but maybe enough to make it to Exile Station. As we burst onto the shattered highway, a shadow fell hard over the vehicle, a darkness that endured even unto the spiritual realm.
Also: Culdcept
Why there is no Culdcept for the PSP is one of the last remaining mysteries of our enlightened age. There has never been a more perfect fit.
Look Out It Is A Dog
The strip isn't exactly accurate - the one-button disarms also rank fairly high on the adjusted Itchy-Scratchy amusement scale - but now you know absolutely everything there is to know. Dead To Rights is a perfect port of a game that has gotten worse with each iteration. Is an excellent translation of a middling original... Good? This is going to keep me up all night.
CTS Animation
I had a few people ask me about the CTS animation I mentioned in my earlier post. Last year the incredible artists over at Fatkat animation put together an animated CTS short based on our ""Last Rites" storyline. They essentially took the three comics we did and animated the entire thing with custom music and some really great voiceover work. We had this cartoon done especially for PAX 04 and the PAX DVD. We showed it twice over the course of the weekend in the theatre and both times people really seemed to like it.

SC:CT
If you play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory with some regularity please add me to your friends list. My Gamer tag is just “Gabe” you could also add my Splinter Cell buddy “khoo”. We gots to get our game on and my list is full of Halo 2 players.
Huge NES Collection
You might have heard about the huge NES collection that was recently up on eBay. I know it got linked on a bunch of game sites and I had quite a few people mail me about it. This guy was selling every single US game ever released for the NES, except for ten. That’s 776 games. We called him up and found out the package also included some pretty rare accessories like the Miracle Piano, ROB the robot and even a couple Power Gloves. It’s one hell of a collection to say the least.
Tribulation
To a certain extent the tomfoolery continues, but there are parallels to other things which are actually relevant, and if you can stay with me through this we'll eventually get there.
I Have Invented A New Word
That word is lexiconnoisseur.
PAX 04 DVD!
Okay the PAX 04 DVD is now on sale and I highly recommend you go pick one up. It’s a three disc set that includes video from the various rooms like console and exhibition as well as two discs dedicated to the musical performances. Also included on the disc is the CTS animated cartoon based on the "Last Rites" storyline we did. We showed the cartoon at PAX last year and people really seemed to like it. I should also warn you that the main DVD contains commentary by Tycho and I. I think it’s important to warn you all that this is probably the most ridiculous commentary ever recorded. Thankfully you can turn it off.
The Great Indoors
Tomfoolery, essentially.
Alpha Shade And Assorted Etcetera
I am always hesitant to put up links to comics I haven't linked before, and the reasons are a little neurotic, so let me clarify them.
new at Gameskins
I would like to point you all towards some very cool new shirts over at Gameskins.com. For the puzzle fans in the audience Kiko has created the “heartris” shirt. Those of you who enjoy the occasional FPS might like the new “headshot” shirt. Finally kiko has delivered a shirt that I consider to be a masterpiece. He calls it “Viva Miyamoto” but I call it a powerful image that ignites the fire of revolution in the minds of all who see it.
Ha-Ha
It is apparently hilarious to play practical jokes on me. The story Tycho mentioned is just one example of the sort of junior high bullshit I am forced to deal with here at Penny Arcade industries.
