I wanted very much to attend something called "Rad Con" Saturday night, where I am told a dangerous beverage known as "Toxic Waste" is prepared. I have a reputation for drinking things that are not, strictly speaking, potable.

I don't know what the kanji looks like for "Methamphetamines," so I couldn't tell you if those tiny pieces of heaven contained it. I can tell you this much, though. The booth next to us, for a store in Kent, Washington called "Sweet Kitty," was like a delicious mouth journey. They had a thing that was like a Hershey's Kiss, except not made of chocolate - made of wholesome graham, lightly dusted with cocoa. Within this crisp contraption, a realm of strawberry mousse hid like treasure.
Holy shit.
There's basically two things going on in today's strip.
Bring your GBA/SP to Sakuracon regardless of whether or not you own Puyo Pop - it's one of the cool games that lets you play four on a single cartridge. All you'll need is the multi cables, if anything.
Looks like Worthplaying has it, for the time being anyway. Move fast.
Please come see us this weekend at Sakuracon. We'll be there Friday Saturday and Sunday. The CTS shirt was certainly the hit of the Kansas city con and I assume it will be much the same here in Seattle this weekend. However, Kiko at Gameskins recently discovered a stash of older shirts that we had thought were sold out. He sent me a box this week that included some Got Wang, some Dirty Dozen and even a Wang Fu. No telling how long these will last but we will have them at our booth. So come by and say hi. Bring your SP if you want to play some Puyo Pop with me.
Astute reader Chris notes the unannounced fucking motorcycle in this screenshot from Secret Weapons.
Is abuzz with the latest Desert Combat release, a B1942 mod which represents a considerable amount of work on the part of its progenitors - indeed, the "AC-130 Gunship" sports the troop spawning capability I just salivated over and was ready to pay for. It is apparently only available on FilePlanet at the moment, though I doubt that will last long.
I forgot some of the things I was going to say about that expansion.
Today's Div strip is naked, brazen fan service. Many human beings had requests for strips while we were at the convention, and a sufficient percentage of those were for a cantankerous chunk of home theater equipment. From atop the mountain, we have heard thee.
Except Frequency.
I'm sorry I didn't put this Amplitude stuff up yesterday, but I ended up talking to Scott for a very long time on the telephone. Then I had to adore my kitten for several hours, after which Brenna wanted to watch Igby Goes Down. Claire Danes, I've missed you.
They aren't songs by The Boss, Bruce Springsteen. They're songs you unlock after defeating all the others on a level.
It's brilliant, just brilliant. I've never gotten to see Jet Li kick ass outside of "The One," which some people don't even consider a Jet Li movie. I had no idea that Hero was a beautiful, historical action drama thing, I just heard it was excellent. And it is.
Here is the dream my exhausted mind produced after this convention:
