Time for another sketch dump. Here's a selection of my sketches from the last week.
I've had a number of people ask about the type of pen I'm using to sketch. It's a Kuretake Arts pocket brush pen. Here's the amazon link.
I find that using a pen forces me to loosen up more. I can't keep erasing and redrawing like I would with a pencil. With the brush pen I put a line down and it's down. It's super far outside my comfort zone but as the weeks go by I'm getting more and more used to it. If you're looking for a way to get inspired or loosen up, try using a new tool. Grab a sharpie or charcoal, or some water colors. Pick something you don't normally use and see what happens.
