Rebel Moon was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. I say this as someone who generally really enjoys Zack Snyder movies. In fact his Justice League cut is one of my favorite films of all time. Rebel Moon though…woof.
The movie is like a quilt made of little bits of other movies and none of them seem to fit together very well. The entire thing feels like it was cobbled together from cast off bits of other films. Like someone swept the proverbial cutting room floor and made a movie with whatever they found. I recommend staying away from this one if you value your health. I watched it a week ago and my body is only just now recovering.
I hope all you nerds had a fantastic Christmas if that’s something you get up to. Mine was a real treat! Like any good non neurotypical weirdo I enjoy getting real deep into a special interest. Recently I decided I wanted to learn everything I could about stickers and how to make them. Well Santa (my wife Kara) hooked me up with a printer and a Cricut machine so I could go hard on my new hobby!
I love learning a new skill like this and a good chunk of the day yesterday was spent in trial and error. There’s certainly an art to the craft of sticker making and I’m enjoying the process immensely. After a few screw ups I managed to make a couple nice looking Merch stickers that peeled off perfectly and looked great!
One even has a fancy holographic layer that makes it shimmer!
I’ve got lots of ideas for sticker projects. The big one is an Eyrewood sticker adventure book. It might be that I just have some fun making stickers for my friends and family. There was a time where I wanted to get really into pin making though and that sort of blew up. I guess we’ll see how this goes.
