Mork is obsessed with X-Men '97 - I was more of a Batman: The Animated Series guy, they started the same year, and I used to run up the hill - it was like a forty-five degree angle - and I could usually get home before the credits were over. But X-Men was probably more nineties, overall: the palette, the music, it's an incredible time capsule and they have brought it into the modern day via some kind of alchemy. We started all this just a few years later, which is sort of hard to get my head around.
Whoever came up with this needs a fucking raise. It's very, very 2024 to fuck around with this type of meta shit, but executing it requires a suite of really unique skills. Which they apparently have. And, if they don't have them internally, they know where to find them:

Soon as I'm done with the strip, I'll be joining Dabe for the return of #Fridabe - a zone where only immaculate vibes can be experienced. But the company that put together our giveaway machines for PAX East - MAINGEAR - wanted to talk about PAX a bit while they made another of the giveaway machines.
