As you might know, I was first introduced to Dungeons and Dragons while I was in my 31st year and the game was in its 4th edition. It’s true, Acquisitions Inc. was my first time ever playing D&D!
Obviously I fell in love with the game, but I missed three decades of books and games. One of those games I missed was for the Sega Genesis and it’s called D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun.
I probably wouldn’t have even rented this as a kid. Back then I pretty much just played platformers and fighting games. One look at the back of this box and I can almost feel younger me yawning.
I’m older and wiser now though and when I saw a D&D Genesis game I knew I had to give it a try. I have absolutely no idea what to expect but I figure this is something we should experience together on Twitch. Reading from the back it sounds like we can create our own “unique character from seven classes including Fighter, Magic User and Elf.”

I guess Elves were different back in 1992. We’ll have to see.
I plan on firing this up Tuesday at 3:00PT over on the PA Twitch. If I can, I’ll try and make Jim Darkmagic and we’ll “Master the D&D Universe” thanks to the power of the Genesis!
